Shedding frequency

DWPURSLEY Jun 25, 2011 05:54 AM

I have a pair of yearling black milks that seem to be in good health but am concerned about how frequently my female is shedding. She has a healthy appetite and is fed one f/t small mouse every week. I have been keeping a feeding a shedding card for her and for the first nine months I owned her all was normal. Her last three shed cycles have been condensed into about a five week period and thats the problem. I have been keeping snakes for 20 years and never have I encountered this. I was worried so I did have her checked out after her second of the three sheds but was told she was in good health. but it still doesnt seem right. any help?

sad news i returned home from work to find my female lying still she had passed. took her remains back to my herp vet he discovered she had an enlarged heart most likely congenital and seems to be the reason for all her difficulties and passing. on that note i am on the market for a replacement. yearling black milk.
