New to the Dry's.. Advice?

cornball252 Jun 25, 2011 01:27 PM

Hello everyone,

I am looking into getting my first pair of Drys in the next few months, but I am having trouble finding a good snake.
Is there any one who you guys/gals would recommend?
I would prefer sub adults to adults but will consider snakes of all ages.
I am looking into Getting Black Tails first however I do plan on eventually owning B/T, Y/T, and Mexican Redtailed Indigos. Now I would love to own Easterns but living in Florida has made that slightly impossible.
I will be moving to NC within the next few days. I am unsure on North Carolina's laws on keeping reptiles. If any one has information on that as well that would be great.

Thanks,

Benjamin L.

Hi Benjamin,

If you move to NC, you can get an eastern Indigo. Well, I guess there could be some stupid local city law, but most of those specify "constrictor" snakes. I live in the Raleigh-Durham area and own one.

Good luck,
Ed
