I have 2 three toed cluches in the ground. First clutch is from my female that laid on June 2nd last year but laid on june 8th this year. The other female laid on june 15th this year. I built picket fences around the nest site so my Aldabras don't walk over the nest sites. Anyway, how often do three toeds double clutch? If at all? And if they do, how many days on average do they lay the second clutch? Thanks for the help, Mark Miles

I had a three-toe that double-clutched once. Near as I could figure, the two nests were less than a week apart. 5 in the first clutch, 3 in the second. All hatched.
