Well, better than nothing

I posted back in March about my girlfriend shutting off the incubator to my bt cribo eggs. I ended up with some deaths in incubation and one completely full term dead in egg cribo. The loss of my set humidity I think was as big of a deal as my loss of temperature for a little while, and I think my trying to "save" them might have done as much harm too.

But I ended up getting one kinked up cribo that has full range of motion, so we will see how he does and might end up being a neat pet if he doesn't have too much trouble. If he appears to go down hill, mussurana euthanasia will continue his life through nourishment of another.

And today I helped this little guy out of the egg. He is a little smaller, but no kinks a fully proportionate. Not a runt, but a little smaller. He was hanging out in the egg a few days and would come half way out a few times and go back in. I ended up helping him out today to make sure the left over yolk he didn't absorb wasn't going to "dry him stuck to the egg." He did ok and his abdomen was fully closed and he was ready to come out with a little encouragement.

I hope for the best for my little survivor(s).

Thanks for looking
