LOL, yeah we will see man.I need to keep one at least.
Anyway, here is a pic with all three pre-shed of coarse so after they shed they will look so different. But, you can see in this pic cause of the normal just how different they look.

John, this one is probably the best of the three. Its head pattern is just sick looking in person and almost hallowed out with a peach color.

How difficult is it to get these guys eating, I have never bred mountian or mexicana kings so it would be a first for me.

Nice Shannon. I bred two hets this year for the first time and got 6 eggs, so I'm hoping to see a hypo or two.

Hello Shannon,
Congratulation,very beautiful hatchlings.
About Hypo Greeri:I have also in breed of such animals, and no not convince me,that I do not have clean Hypo Greeri. As I noticed, hymomelanistish Greeri is various levels,as L.t.hondurensis -start such animals as are those born, after your super Hypo Greeri from last year. But vast majority of Hypo Greeri has concentrated black dots or line in center red spots.
In neighboring Germany but keepers have of great confusion(including your amd me friend Gerrit,ha,ha)They think, that an animal, that has traces of black color is only hetero Hypo, not pure Hypo(!)
I bought male from my photos in Germany as only hetero Hypo(but he is very nice Hypo)-in pictured comparest with natural color female.
What is your opinion?Very greetings to U.S.
Than you

I believe there are three degrees of hypomelanism in Greeri......
Light phase
True hypomelanistic
Super hypomelanistic

Yes, I would have to agree. But, the super hypo I produced last year came from a light phase x normal (het, sibling) so that really doesn't make since???

L8r

p.s. I can't freaking wait till next year to breed my super hypo back to her light phase father.OMG that will be cool.

That doesn't make since but it is one cool Greeri.......

I guess there are many different degrees of reduced melanin.....And as you mentioned, I think the Super form may be T positive.....Maybe that is why hatched out of a Light Phase X Normal Het.........

I can't wait for ALOT of things that will emerge next year.....Now send me some so I can fatten them up and breed them.....LOL

Yes, that is a hypo you have there.I don't care if there is still some black that is hypo ( maybe not super hypo LOL...).
Maybe the "super hypo" is areally a t plus albino? cause the eyes even change color etc....who really knows but I know I am haveing fun working with these guys.

This kinda goes along the lines of the Applegate Special pyro.....I don't think an Applegate Special Pyro is Hypomelanistic...It is still expressing melanin....not reduced melanin....just reduced pattern........Maybe I am wrong...If you take the term Hypomelanistic (reduced melanin - black) literally it doesn't specify the ammount of melanin or pattern that it is lacking.......

Is the light phase Greeri pictured truly hypomelanistic if it is still expressing melanin? I don't really know but it sure is different than any normal......

Is it true that if you breed a light phase by a light phase (like the one pictured) they will produce true hypos with the gray borders instead of black.......Hell, I guess they can produce super hypos too since Shannon's did last year......

Okay....I want in on these.....LOL

Hi John,

You know it yourself...it goes like "the waiting kills me!!!"

8 good looking greeri eggs are now 63 days in the incubator, this clutch is from superhypo male x lightphase het-hypo female.

3 more days and i am waking up in the madhouse..lol...

Does anything has hatched close to the mexican border?
