About 2 months ago I bought an beautiful female kenyian sand boa from Pet Smart. She was housed with another snake (unknown sex). Now our docile female is getting fat in her lower half before her vent. She is also eating more and agitated easily. This bothers me as she isn't even a year old yet.
1) Can they even get pregnant that young?
2) Is it more so dangerous if she is than an older and bigger female.

She is my only snake I never wanted to breed her. She was housed with this other snake for about 3 months prior to me getting her.

I have had females become gravid at ~100 - 150 grams. It isn't 'great' for them, and they often don't produce young the following year. As long as you offer food she should be ok. IF she is gravid it will likely be a small litter.
