We went to Sanderson, River Road, and the Chinati Mountains. Not a single snake in Sanderson. Nothing on River Road. Hiked a few molossuss and a suboc in the Chinati Mountains, all of which were very skinny. Not much is moving, due to the lack of rain.
I did hear of an alterna that was recently caught in the Langtry area.

Just got back from 7 nights out west.

Not a snake the first two nights. Next five nights

3 subocs
2 atrox
3 hyps
2 blacktail
2 emory rat

We were out from sunset to sunrise. Worked very hard and saw very little. Did see three cool things on road cuts. A mountain lion, a tiger salamander and a painted bunting.

That's pretty cool that you saw a mountain lion. What area did you see him at?

Musquiz Canyon. I have actually seen several in that area.
