1. Not much rain.
2. Not much moving (less than 5 alterna observed this year so far)
3. No hunting tickets
4. A traffic ticket or two. nothing big
5. Usual stops for most (Border Patrol, Deputies, Sheriff, no hassle or very little hassle.
6. Gas still expensive

I guess I don't feel as heartbroken about missing this year's season then...

but I'll probably miss next year's too.

All I've seen where I am so far is a Cyrtopodion scabrum (or Cyrtodactylus scaber, depending on your taxonomy).
