Elaphe schrencki?

I got this old female as a Russian Rat snake, but I have not been 100% sure. She's really dark, and the yellow bands that they are supposed to have, hers are really thin and faded to a point where they are barely seen. Her face looks like one, but everything else I'm not so sure. She's about 4.5' long and her belly is completely black with only a couple white speckles. Do I really have a Russian rat? Help?

I'd say yes...you have a Russian ratsnake....

...yellow varies alot on them....age might help darken them also?...

Looks like one to me! My female has a reduced pattern also,but not to that point! Here's mine! Jeff

Yeah, there's some reduced pattern ones around. Also, if that snake is really old, it may be exhibiting excess black pigment.
