More pics from Washington

The color variation in the little crabs was neat too.

This green one was the coolest

On our way home we stopped at a few spots to try to find a pacific rattlesnake, but no luck. We did see a bunch of fence lizards though, & my 1st Washington gophersnake ever (My wife spotted it). The gopher was pretty neat, they sure are different then the big thick bulls arround here.

Thanks,

Dan Eby

Awesome pics Dan. Nice to see you're out herping in my 'hood' where the slugs are thicker than the gopher snakes.

Great shots as usual.

Your "fence lizard" is a Side-blotched Lizard.

Dan,

Someday you need to compile all these photos you take into a nice Coffe Table book. It would have an honorary place on mine!
Thanks for sharing!

Good, I look forward to buying the first copy!
Keep up the good work! I'm back at it, but drought and heatwave have almost everything holed up now. Only thing I ever see is, ironically, turtles! Go figure..

Great pics, Dan. I was able to find the snakes in each picture except for #2 and #8.
