How to choose quality specimens?

detroitdipset Jul 11, 2011 08:12 AM

I have been lurking on this forum for awhile now and have been noticing all the beautiful deep red bloods you guys have. My question is, are their any markers to look for when choosing babies? Most babies aren't as red as they will be I know, but I also noticed that not all babies from screaming adults become that way. I know its a little vague but just wondering if any of the guru's here could help me out.
Thanks
Charles

Unlike ball pythons, blood pythons breeders are willing to send you pics of the parents. from that you can get a very good indication of how your baby will turn out in terms of coloration.

Just ask!
