I know, I know, Snow is suppose to be albino anery or albino axanthic. Since no anery or axanthic burms exists, I didn't think I'd have any objections. Boy was I wrong.

There is definitely a genetic component to it. We produced 2 more B&B this year, plus some other unique specimens. I've gotta keep at least a couple trade secrets

Snow? or leucistic? Snow I am assuming is albino anerythristic, but I was unaware of an anerythristic Burm.
Great pic by the way.

Snow is always a name that has appealed to me, and since there aren’t any anerythristics or axanthics that I’m aware of, it doesn’t seem like a possible conflict. Snow in other species always seemed like a generic name to describe the phenotypic results of expression of multiple traits, this is no different in that respect of the traditional albino anery, just one trait is Blue-Eyed Leucistic instead. The result of the interactions is still a white snake with Red Eyes, that’s good enough for me to stick with it as SNOW.

In that case, if an anerythristic or axanthic burm is found, and proven genetic, what should the offspring be called if double homozygous with albino?
How about Blizzard for the albino leucistic?
or........ albino leucistic

Warren,
Although albino leucistic or albino ivory is technically correct, it's not very exciting. Blizzard was a close 2nd in naming, but I could get on board with that. As you're about the 10th person to point out the flaw in the name given, I'm going to refer to them as Blizzard going forward.

Whatever they are called, they are absolutely stunning. I am not a large constrictor person myself (by that I mean I will never own a Burm or Retic), but I really appreciate an incredible morph when I see one. I look forward to seeing this as an adult.
Good luck with your future breedings.
