Thanks for the family portrait accompanying your last reply to me, that's what I'm talking about... I did not turn it into a desktop btw

I can't help but wonder if we aren't related... I had planned on grabbing some pics of kingfishers, hummingbirds and sea anemones this year to help pass away the winter months here... but you've already done that and it would just seem as if I were copying you at this point wouldn't it.

Many, many, years ago I started a seashell collection with my son... perhaps when he was twice the age as yours... during a camping trip to Baxter State Park we added a rather old shell to that collection

Hope you kept a couple of those fossils, they make nice keepsakes of good times.

Gerry,

That is one cool looking fossil! I keep quite a few rocks & fossils I find. Looking for rocks while I'm out is part of the fun for me.

Take those pics man! Thats not copying, thats just checking out cool stuff & sharing the pics with people like us who enjoy checking out interesting things. Its funny, there isnt that many different types of herps here so I kind of feel like I'm doing the same posts over & over, but I dont care because I like looking at them & it seems you & others do to, & I'm sure we'll all enjoy looking at yours (I know I will).

Beautiful shots of the rattlesnake, I like the tongue over the top of the head shot. All of those scenic pictures make me want to take a trip out west. If I only had the time and the money, LOL. Did the raccoons make it down without being electrocuted?

Thanks Justin

Baby raccoons climb up the poles all the time here & do just fine, although I'm sure they do somtimes get fried
