I rerally hate to see the ones with babies squirting from the momma. Seeen that too many times.

That always sucks to see road killed snakes, but even worse when there is dead babies coming out of them or eggs scattered & flattened. Only once I was able to save a litter of red sided garters out of a big mom that was hit on a dirt road. I cut her belly open & poked the almost fully developed babies out of the hole through the hole I cut. It sucked, but it was kind of funny actually because a car full of people drove by & slowed way down with disgusted looks on their faces as I was poking my finger in this snake. They probably thought I was some sort of weird animal sex pervert,lol. I took the babies home to my incubator & a couple of days later there were 9 little red sideds ready to be turned loose.
Great bunch of pics! I especially like the middle red watersnake in the 1st group.

I actually caught 2 Banded water snakes like that...all red and no black...both where like 50 miles apart also...
