you think she'll keep that deep red?

and wow, she has a huge saddle count.

I think she will.....but males usually hold onto their color better than the females.
Her mother has a nice red head and that red post ocular spot, but she certainly doesn't have the high saddle count this one has.....

Here is a pic of the mother:

her mom's very nice. i've never seen a female who's held their red like that - my female is now more of the purply-red, which i've heard is the norm for females.

so, does dad have the high band count, or are you just going to have to start a line of those too? lol.

Here is the Father.......
I was thinking it was another sire, but I am for sure it was this one.....I had to check my notes.....LOL

Jimmy....I may have told you incorrectly in an email.......

These are from old lines....Sipperly/Valverka/Lemke......

I have another classic clutch getting ready to hatch from Shannon's San Antonio Zoo stock female and my male that was from a wild confiscated female.........

Anyway...here is the sire....he has nice white borders.....AND...a red head as well......lol

John,
does some more mexmex pipping?

Jlassiter Jul 21, 2011 06:24 PM

>>John,

Yes they have Michael........
All 5 of the red heads have hatched out and one out of 8 has hatched out of a classic pairing.........a San Antonio Zoo stock female x a male from a wild confiscated female...........it has an amazingly high saddle count...........

Any day now the black x hypo-e eggs and the granite eggs will start pipping......

I will get some good pics after they all shed.......but I'll post a pic of the high saddle count one that just hatched.........
