Frilly Enclosure

I have all of the info I need. I know they are arboreal and need height more than other dimensions.
I'm thinking 3'3'6' or 2.5' 2.5' 5' (basically whatever will fit through my apartment door.

I have someone who will build it.

My question is...what exactly do I build and with what materials?

My boyfriends dad is willing to build me a wooden cage if I buy the materials. I don't know what kind of wood to get (assuming there are woods I shouldnt use or woods that have been treated with chemicals or something nasty like that)

I'm thinking the sides should be wood, the top should be some kind of mesh (again, help with what kind?) to rest the lights on top of (since I believe the heat lamps shouldnt be inside of the cage incase of burning?...) the front will mostly be mesh or something except for the door which I guess would be a wooden frame with mesh in the middle? Should the floor be wood as well? Will it rot?

I'm not crafty. This is the first cage I'd have built.

ANY info is helpful. Send pictures of your cages please. any info at all will help.

If anyone could send a link to a guide or a site or something about how to build the cage or what materials to use, that would be appreciated.

Here's a thread on how I built mine. http://www.thefrilleddragon.com/threads/571-Frank-s-Enclosure-Take-2

There are many other threads and links there on how others built theirs.
