Dwarf Burmese Question

graynightblue Jul 20, 2011 01:45 AM

I had a burmese for the longest time but he made my gf very uncomfortable. She loves snakes but at 14', she just couldn't feel comfortable around him. So about 3 years ago I found a good home for him with some people I trusted. Then about 2 years ago we had IBD go through our red tails that we had and took them all from us.

Just recently I have finally been able to start thinking about getting another boid. I really love the burmese. Their personality an their looks. If I wanted to find a straight dwarf burmese, nothing fancy besudes being a dwarf, what is the price range I would be looking and for a well breed one?

Also, can anyone suggest a reputable breeder that I could contact about them?

Thanks and Regards,
Widj

Wow, void that signature, it's been so long since I've posted here it's completely out of date.

I have normal size burms & I haven't researched the prices or breeders of dwarf burm, so I can't help you there. But I am a member of burmjunkies.com & someone there could probably help you with the info' your seeking.

Good luck in your search & glad to hear your getting back into the obsession.

Dwarf is tough, not that many around and on a couple of clutchs ever in the US. We have half dwarfs, dwarf to full size. We have albino granites, albino, granite and poss hets that will be available soon. The F1 half dwarfs only grow to about 8 feet max. males a little smaller. The F2's hatch smaller and seem to be staying smaller.
