lol thats as many live snakes as I've found all season down here! farking drought and heat! Those are adorable kids man. HOpe ours turn out to like herping and nature stuff.

You actually live where there are ponds!
Here in Texas, everythng is dead, plant wise. Today's high here wa 108F by my thermometer. Herps are estivating now, if they are alive. I see only grasshoppers and very rarely, a lizard. Usually the lizard is a roadkill. Things are getting really desperate here. This is the worst summer season I've had weatherwise.
Thanks for the pics, they remind m there is life somewhere in the west. Just no here.
