I just got my first dwarf tiger ratic not to long ago she is big enough to eat rat pup currently but how often will I have to upgrade in size.

With "most" snakes my general rule of thumb is a little bigger than the girth of the snake. If you walk back into your snake room an hour or two after feeding and you can't tell they ate anything, it's usually not a big enough meal. I want to walk back in an hour later and see a bit of a bulge there...doesn't have to be a huge bulge, but I want to be able to tell the snake actually just ate.
