Black Gap 2011 "possible keeper"

jadreptile Jul 31, 2011 10:22 PM

This awesome baby just hatched 5 minutes ago. Parents were purchased as hatchlings from T. Smith (Y knot Reptiles) in Oct. 2008 Thanks for looking.

That is an aberrant awesome baby, congrats! I'd be a little surprised if it was a male because it seems to be more rare to find a busy patterned gap male. Beautiful gap! I'm sure there may be some more cool looking ones in that clutch waiting to hatch and I or we would love to see the other ones as well once they are out.

Thanks Tony! I am excited to see the other babies that still haven't hatched yet. 5 more to go out of the clutch of 10. This is a great time of year.

The fact that you called it a "possible" Keeper! I would definitely hold that guy back. Very interesting pattern. Nice. Congrats

Thanks Chris! Another one came out that is absolutely sick...I'll post a pic shortly. I will ask my kids which one they like the best

I look forward to seeing the rest of them and hope they all come out with no health issues either!

The father and the mother of the clutch look so creative in the pattern that I can't even imagine the babies produced each season!

And yes like Chris Drake said, you should hold it back. Let us know once you find out the possible keeper's gender! It will be interesting
