inflamed nostrile???

geckoejon Aug 14, 2011 03:45 PM

hello,

i have a little newly acquired, one month ago, 7 inch beardy. he appears to be healthy as in eating (most days) 15-30 small crickets and some greens. he is active and very alert. the cage temps with the basking light aprox 105-107 and cool side around 75-80. with 14 hrs of light and a reptisun 10.0 long florescent. evry day calcium dusted crix and once a week herpivite. i let him soak 2-3 times a week.

i noticed one of his nostrils was very slightly inflamed and a little pink starting a couple days ago. it does not seem to be getting any worse, but not any better either.

advice??? any idea what caused it??? thanks....

jonathan

i believe it was irritated from him rubbing it because he is shedding. i picked him up, it was not inflamed any more, and while i was holding him he rubbed his nose on my fingers. not very polite, but it explains it. lol
