Hi, can anyone help ID this Tortoise. was told it is some kind of Mediterranean Tortoise, any help with is would be great.

The only reason why I ask is because it looks like a Gopher Tortoise to me.

Yes, it looks like a Gopher Tortoise to me as well. Where was it bought? A chain pet store, a small independent pet store, or from a private party? This might give a clue as to whether it could be one which was just picked up on the road or caught in the wild vs. being imported.
