Found in my driveway

Something new for me. Found in the driveway. Has a rat snake looking head, dark upper body, striped ventral skin. Hatchling.

We have ring necks, black rats, northern water, eastern milks, garters. Now something new? Western North Carolina.

Thanks! That was my guess. I thought I saw some in my dryer vent area a few years ago and forgot about that. Thanks again.
