well my new megaray burned out, I gave up . I have gone back top using two 48'' zoo med 10.0 tubes at 10'' above my Rhino basking area . I will stick with lights that i can find ( and return ) local . I have gone through three brands and either they burn out or they don't put out any UVB . I also bought a 6.2 solar meter so i can check and see how well my bulbs are working . The zoomed 10.0 bulbs are putting out 135 mw at 12'' and 167 /- at 10'' according to the meter and the ZooMed PowerSun i returned was putting out only 23 MW of UVB at 12'' .

I am Glad i bought the meter !!

here i what i got in my back yard at 2:30 pm . WE live at 4500 feet in N.Utah .

Go to the fauna classifieds and punch mega-ray in in the board of inquiry. A lot of unhappy people. I can't say that I am sorry for the guy as I have talked or should I say tied to talk with him a couple times and he is a real self centered guy.

Interesting. I've never found that to be true. I think he is a good guy who is doing his best considering all he went through. Back when the glass disaster happened, only Reptile UV did an actual recall and as a small business, they were the ones who could least afford it. However, Bob would never intentionally put an animal in danger.

They try to blame there bad/non- existent customer service on the customers , either WE are e-mailing or calling too much .give me a brake . I still have not heard anything about my backorder i tried to cancer , or the bulb i returned . I don't expect to . I will NOT deal with them any more .Anyway, enough mega-ray bashing on my part . .
