Leopard Gecko Shaking

ExtremeHerps Aug 24, 2011 07:39 AM

On July 13th my first ever baby leopard gecko hatched out. Now I just got back from vacation and found my baby leopard gecko shaking. Before I left it was eating and popping normaly. So I've done some research and it sounds like it might be starting with MBD so if it is what do I do and if its not what the world is happening? Also its not eating and getting worse!

How old is it and what kind of husbandry are you using? Trembling or muscle fasiculations in geckos can be a sign of several serious metabolic diseases. Once they are trembling they are likely past the help of home care and will need veterinary help. I would try to get it to an exotics vet ASAP. If that is not an option, assist feeding and watering, herptivite, and praying may work.

Sorry. I meant Reptivite. NOT Herptivite.
