What kind of filter does everyone recomend for larger caimans indoor pond? I was looking at pool filters they have the cartridge ones and the sand ones any thoughts?

That filter looks nice and also easy to build but would the pump be able to suck up the waste the caiman passes like the fur and all?

I think a nice big pump would do it... or maybe you need to clean the pump once a week or use a prefilter...

Hey guy im about to purchase a hatchling dwarf caiman in the next couple weeks, i have a 8x4 starting enclosure to last it a few years but the problem im facing is figuring out the filter system. saw this thread, and read that page but im still a little confused as to how it works. someone mind explaining?
