Does it make a difference if you use mice vs. rats as feeders? Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using one over the other? Is one more nutritious than the other?

If you breed them I find mice much easier, cheaper. If your just buying them as feeders, snakes grow faster and heavier on rats.

For example if you feed a mouse vs a rat pup/fuzzy same size the snake will grow faster on the rat.

If you keep bigger types of snakes than rats are your choice as more food for the bang.

I keep a couple kings and when I used to breed mice were fine for them .
