Looking to build my own cage

jd350az Aug 25, 2011 10:49 PM

I currently have a 3' Ball Python in a 40g terrarium and a baby Red Tail Boa in a 20 long. I have 2 55 gal aquariums I used for Fish a couple years ago in my garage I was going to convert for the snakes. I'm finding it hard to keep humidity over 60% here in AZ since its so dry and with the screen tops most is going right out I think. I also want a bigger area for them to enjoy as they grow up so I was looking into building my own cages. Is there any good reading material out there on where to start? http://www.reptile-cage-plans.com/ keeps coming up and I'm not really finding much on Google on info like layouts, materials, etc so I was hoping you guys might have some ideas on where to start.
