I have been looking at getting two dwarf caimans (paleosuchus palpebrosus) . The local reptile expos have not had any lately. I saw on kingsnake classified GE reptiles offering them but have not heard great things about them. Does anyone know good breeders or dealers that has them normally? Looking for recommendations....

Tom Crutchfiel also offers good ones sometimes...

and there is a guy in Texas... dont know where to contact him... but offers some times a year in classifieds.. his name is Craig..

Thanx I will look at them... Craig is the GE reptile guy but read a lot of negative stuff on him so nervous (would be first time getting reptiles online)....

I bougth a nice pair with hime several years ago... but havent hear anything abouth him since then, so I cant give you an actual opinion...

I got them here in Mexico... they were imported from French Guyana...

Just curious I am building a new house and going to be building two setups one for the dwarfs I want to buy and one for my spectacled caiman....

I´ve built a few setups.. here are some:

white one is a big (4x3 ft) cooler... actual home of my 3 dwarfs...

blue one was home of my first dwarf, built several years ago...

and the outdoors set up, also for my first dwarf... this was built at my parents home years ago...

now I´m working in a 10 x 7 ft fiber glass pool... next home of my 3 dwarfs...

also have a lot of pics of different setups of other guys... you can get a lot of good ideas... mail me if you want some
