Well she's not a baby but i gave in to a long time want for a GTP when I saw her. She's an Aru wc and probably a yearling.
She's great! As gentle as a ball and eating great.
I'd heard that GTPs can be nasty and I have a white lip that lives up to its mean rep but she is great!
I have a question though, do females get bigger than males and how big can I expect her to get?

Arus tend to be the smallest of the GTPs..I have a 4 yr old aru male thats 900 grams.Females do tend to be larger.Nice white on yours,hope it does well for you.People tend to stay away from wc of this species,..looks healthy though

I gave her some time to settle in then a panacur treatment. She is really doing well on every level. Grams? I'm guessing she will be about the same as my white lip, 5' and as big around as a baseball.
The white lip was smaller than the GTP when I got her and was also wild caught. She was nippy but I thought I could calm her down. Well she's calm alright, she calmly bites the hell out of me.
This GTP shows no inclination to bite and i hope she stays that way.

By your pic she doesnt look anywhere near baseball size,which would be unhealthy for a chondro in my opinion.Arus tend to be the most docile or so Ive heard.Biaks are suppose to be nasty things but mine are'nt bad,...I got lucky though because Ive seen some that act like monsters

No no, its the white lip I have that is as big around as a baseball (without a meal in her)and she is at least 5'+.
The GTP is not quite as big around as a pingpong ball right now and about 2 1/2'. I was just making comparison to the WL and am hoping the GT turns out about the same size.
Bigger than a ball but not a burm.
I'm happy to hear that I ended up with a gentle variety of GTP.
Kind of want to see her get a little size like the WL is though.

I'd take a picture of the WL to show you but honestly I'm shy of handling her and getting bitten by this one(arm or face). As beautiful as that WL is, it is a handful.
She is an evil biting machine.
I get tagged by my calubreds all the time which is no big deal. A bite from that white lip is no joke though.
She puts away two large rats every two weeks and does it easily. I'm not into power/over feeding either. Its just what that snake eats and she looks for more.
I'll probably part with her in trade(the WL)one day to the right person that doesn't mind her temper.
