Same Iguana... new name

Really Sep 03, 2011 05:10 PM

Hi Everyone,

I have mentioned in other threads that if we were going to end up keeping Glaurung the poor animals name would have to be changed since my husband keeps calling the poor the thing Gallwrong or Gallbladdar....

My seventeen year old had decided that one is *her* iggy and has renamed it Arwen. I REALLY hope it turns out to be a girl or it will end up pretty sissified male. LOL

So, we now have Kismet, Sebastian, Tazumal and Arwen.

Arwen still needs to gain some weight, but is doing much better:

No one responded to this, but Arwen passed away yesterday morning. We are awaiting the results of a necropsy.

thats too bad. i also lost 4 of our baby blue ones. 2 died by my girl who works for me cleaning cages being carless and they escaped. at least one got eaten by another animal as i found its tail in the bottom of a cage and the other is still lost somewhere in my basement. the other 2 just got sick i guess and wilted away. we tried everything but they were so small even force feeding wasnt helping. my others are doing well and have grown alot.

How many did you get total, Ageber? I only had the two and I miss Arwen so much! Taz seems to be doing well so far. He's grown more than an inch SVL and doubled his weight. Arwen, by contrast, had grown only two tenths of an inch and gained No weight at all. Taz is also very smart and good natured. I hope he continues to thrive!
