A friend of mine purchased this great looking Tegu at a local chain pet store. Feeding great but have NO IDEA of the correct id as to what kind. Was bought as a Black and White.

From that angle it looks like a real nice Columbian.By the way the price is generally the give away. Over $150 argentine ,under $150 most likly colunbian. Unless they didnt know themselves

Definitely a columbian black and white tegu. They don't get as big as Argentine's at all, and generally don't have a very sweet disposition like the Argentine's do. They aren't very saught after, I think the most I've seen them for sale at a pet store is fifty bucks. Cool lizards though nontheless
