I've been putting the adult garters outdoors in large screened in cages in the summer on the weekends so they can get some sunshine, fresh air and exercise. They seem to enjoy the time outside and I look at it as charging their batteries for the next breeding season. I put females in one cage and the males in the other, so when I was moving the males outsided in a five gallon bucket I took the oportunity to get a group photo of the bucket of males. The females are too big to all fit in a bucket, not to mention they can lauch themselves out quite easily and quickly.
