she recently shed and I managed to take what might be the best picture of her yet, haha... she was covered in a good bit of dirt before shed but after she looks to be a very clean white color. when I got her in July she was only feeding on bullfrog tadpoles, after giving her about 20 of those she started taking a dozen shiners per feeding instead. if anybody here breeds water snakes.... do you brumate them at all?

Thanks she is a beast for sure, and the color morph isn't really established yet. She was caught in Spring 2011 and I ended up with her in July, and unfortunately she isn't gravid. So I have to hope I can get her to breed this coming Spring. Hopefully this color morph will be one day established. Supposedly another white water snake was spotted in the same area but wasn't caught.

sweet.........breed it for sure......even if you could get a normal from the same area , it would increase the chance of getting a male het.......yea...I know...slim odds...but what the heck.....
