Recently I aquired a hatchling box turtle labeled as a desert, but it appears it might be an ornate. I know know they are related...any real difference in their care or diet?

I have and Ornate with my five adult eastern box turtles for the past six years and she thinks she's one of them. The boxies don't seem to care one way or another about her they all just hang out, sleep together, eat the same foods and hibernate together. The two males I have try about once a season to mate with her but give up and forget about. I live in northeast Ohio.
