My black racer has a swollen eye, it appears to be some type of infection. The clear part of the eye is bulging out much larger than the other eye. There is no retained eye scale on the eye. i called the vet today and they alread closed. Im am going to increase the temp and hope for the best. This is a captive hatched racer that iv had for 2 years, and its about 4.5 feet.

After seveal days of applying antibacterial oniment to the swelled up eye, it went down to it's normal size, and is still eating with no problems at all. I will keep her in a quarrentine tanks for a few weeks just to be safe.
