Pro Exotics building burns up

DMong Sep 26, 2011 08:58 PM

...what a horrible catastrophe. I understand alot of lizards lived through this, but lots of damage and around 3,000 dead snakes from what I hear.

How very, VERY sad...........

What a terrible way for all those snakes to die. It's sickening to think about.

My heart breaks for those animals, and for the owners of Pro Exotics.

I feel so bad for the animals and those guys. I've delt with Chad and Robyn and they are both stand-up guys. I bought a pair of coxi from them back in 2008 and they both turned out to be males. I called and talked to both of them about it, and emailed them pics of the snakes in question. They sent me a gravid female as a replacement. How cool was that! What a tragedy.

Just saw the damage on the web. What a horrible way for an animal to die. They mentioned re-building depending on insurance companies evaluation. They'll probably get help in re-building the structural part, but not much value on livestock, especially since reptiles don't have a Koala Bear type of cuteness. Still, 20 years of your life's work gone in hours.
