Has anyone found that certain localities are harder/easier to get started on F/T mice? If so, which seem to be the easiest to switch over?
Thanks

Sorry for the late response. I haven't been surfing the forums lately. To answer your question, I have heard that the eastern localities are generally better mouse feeders than the more western localities. They are generally bigger, more robust animals, and probably include small rodents more in their diets, particularly as adults. I generally see locality adults like Christmas Mtns., etc. much smaller than adult Juno Roads or Hwy 277s. This theory isn't iron clad, just something a good friend of mine (ex Alterna breeder) and I were talking about, and mostly is based on his experiences.
