Keeping sliders with other turtles

twillis10 Oct 12, 2011 12:16 PM

I was wondering if red eared sliders could be kept with other species of turtles. More specifically soft shell turtles. I have 3 juvie sliders and I was wanting to another type of turtle to put with them. I really want to get a softshell, but if other work better I would like to know about them as well. If this is just a bad idea I can just scrap it. Thanks.

From what I know and have heard.....RES will eventually mess the Soft shells nose and soft shell up as they grow.....RES can be feisty as they get older.....Soft Shells dont have protection like their hard shelled counterparts
