I've been trying to get some of these for quite a while. Finally I was able to pick up a pair thanks to Phil Bradley.

Sorry I forgot for anyone not familiar with the species. They are Moellendorffi and sometimes called 100 Flower Ratsnakes. They are from southern China and north eastern Vietnam.

Wow, gorgeous. Do these need to be kept cool? They are stunning.

RandyWhittington Oct 19, 2011 12:34 AM

As with other species I keep from their range, I make sure they have a cooler side, no warmer than 75 degrees in their enclosure. I've found that all the asians do better though if they do have access to some heat as long as I'm able to keep the cool side in the range I mentioned.

You're welcome Randy ...but for some reason I don't get emails from this server even though I have it turned-on in my prefs.

You might try support at serpertrack d-o-t com. Interested in whatever it is you have to say

Thanks,
Brad

Wow, Randy I am speechless. Those are awesome. Big congrats on that pair. I'm so glad that this species is becoming more available from captive breedings, instead of wc gravid females. Good luck with them.

Thanks. I really love the asian rats as well. Now if I could only get my Pits up to size, but I know you can't rush them.
