"ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Dozens of animals escaped Tuesday from a wild-animal preserve that houses bears, big cats and other beasts, and the owner later was found dead there, said police, who shot several of the animals and urged nearby residents to stay indoors.

The fences had been left unsecured at the Muskingum County Animal Farm in Zanesville, in east-central Ohio, and the animals’ cages were open, police said. They wouldn’t say what animals escaped but said the preserve had lions, tigers, cheetahs, wolves, giraffes, camels and bears...."

A more fitting title would be "Exotic Animals were Released".

Interesting timing. Perfect ammunition for the state of Ohio, the Columbus Zoo and the HSUS who have all been meeting in private to ban exotics in the state.

On Night Line last night, that nut sack head of HSUS didn't confine his comments to what actually happened but went on about anacondas, alligators and crocodiles. Nobody has yet focused on the unstable nature of the nut that released his own animals and took his life. All they have shown are tools like Jack Hannah and the HSUS nut reading from scripts. Way to go America, make us proud or at least into a house broken bee colony.

Does anyone else notice how Animal planet is airing re-runs of "Fatal Attractions" regarding big cats? Surely that is of no coincidence...

Honestly, I no longer watch those channels because they are pure garbage and take up too much of my time. It is bad enough watching Jack Hannah come on and state that this is the worst animal catastrophe ever on public television. Who is he kidding? The media maybe. Then that genius from H$U$ adding the bit about reptiles into his stern condemnation about Ohio's wild life laws. Seems purposeful that nobody is delving into the dead guys past. Beyond taking away my right to keep and breed reptiles, I want to see a public discussion about exactly what Jack Hannah and the AR groups are going to do for wildlife conservation. Exactly what is going to be done. With details. As we all know, the devil is in the details. Thanks for letting me rant. Now I have to get back to feeding my snakes that still refuse to be vegan and refuse to believe that everything should be provided by the government for free.
