2009 Intermontane rats

mattkau Oct 21, 2011 12:23 AM

I got this pair as hatchlings in 2009 from KJ Lodrigue. They are from a locale is western Colorado. It's amazing how their blotches take on a light green hue in certain lighting. The light in my kitchen has this effect, so I snapped a couple pics.

Male

Female

These should breed this coming season. I'm pretty excited about that.

Great looking intermontanus, Matt! I'm looking forward to seeing the offspring from those...

Thanks Toby, so am I. Diego Ortiz would like to do a hatchling swap next year if we both end up with good clutches. He has a pair of the Utah locale. I almost bought a pair of the Utah's, now I'm glad that I didn't, cause a trade would benefit both of us. Hope all your charges are doing well.

Matt, best of luck to both you and Diego for good clutches of those! Diego is a friend of mine, and has very nice animals too.
