The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.........

mingdurga Oct 26, 2011 06:46 PM

The Good: Took 97 days but they're worth it. Gotta love subocs. From a pair of 66% PH Albinos that didn't give it up. Six eggs, six hatch.

The Bad: Had 9 eggs from another clutch (blondes with pedigrees) that went 66 days before kitty decided she wanted her eggs over easy. Very high up on a shelf, but that didn't help.
If you like horror movies, the ending was fitting.

The Ugly: No Comment.

More suboc pairs next season and the eggs will be in lockdown.

Mike

Nice baby subocs - congrats!

Sorry to hear about the eggs that the cat destroyed. Our cats are the main reason I keep my snake room door closed at all times. They are a bit too interested in the snakes and other things in there for my comfort...

Almost forgot about this Pièce de résistance..........

More than a month before the eggs over easy request, she decided to try one fresh on the hoof, so to speak. These are 3 day old campbells from a pair of het hypos. She took out only one, and I don't have to I.D. her choice.

..you take the critter in thid pic, soak it in quick cure....smoke it for 4 hours..slice it thin on a cracker with some good cheese....just like ham...with a hint of revenge...

....sad...

You should feed the cat to the snakes.

I produced five double-het for anery ghost florida kings this year and lost two to my new cats. They knocked the little cages off the shelf and had easy access to them. I won't discuss the "ugly" part either, but the cats are still alive and the snakes are behind closed doors.

Wow, that's a real bummer of a story to hear too.

Another vote for dogs! Bullies have zero interest in snake eggs!
