John should have a pic or three of them....or was it a single animal that was confiscated in Laredo, TX, USA?

From my understanding it was more than a single animal. I have not seen pic's of the originals though.

I am not at home right now, unfortunately I find I have to work every once in a while. LOL

Anyway, as far as how many original "Laredo Line" as I call them there were. None of the confiscated animals were ever sold.

But I did buy several clutches out of the adults. The guy that was keeping them for the feds as evidense after the bust, bred them and sold me the babies to us. We raised those up and then started what we call the laredo line.

They were a group of animals that were unrelated to anything else in the country and we have kept them that way.

Then we also have taken that line and bred it into other US lines to enhance the genetics of those lines thru diversity.

You get a lot of the old coloration/patterns like we saw back in the 70's before all the color and line breeding started in them as far as varying degrees of greys, straw yellow, orange, reds, MSP's with lots of orange in the white portion of the triads and a few blacks every once in a while. When I get home in a few days I will post some pictures of some of the original animals for everybody.

Hope that helps everyone understand them.
