What do you guys think is the best move?

I want to either build a rack or a a few stackable melamine cages for my snakes now (some ball pythons and a corn snake) i know i will be getting more snakes but since they are more of a pet than breeders i don't know what to do. I do enjoy looking at the balls when they come out but all the different cages take up so much room. what do you guys think?
thanks in advance
Tom

My advice is to think of what is best for the species you are keeping. Snakes that are terrestrial and spend most of their time underground will do great in racks as long as the box size is reasonable (not too small). This means kingsnakes, milksnakes, ball pythons, rosyboas, etc.

Corns will be fine in racks but will utilize a cage with some climbing opportunity especially if heated from above. I think it is nice to have that for those types of snakes (ratsnakes, boas, some python species, etc).

One nice thing about racks is that it is often easier to control a nice range of humidity in them.
