21-1/2 year old Ig

Sometime ago I posted on how old my Ig is. In September of this year I have had Gweenie for 21 years. When I got her she was about 6 months old. We have traveled cross country and lived in several states together. Back several months ago she started to slow way down. I had to really keep her from climbing up high cause of fear she would fall. Right now she is spending most all of her time sleeping on the couch on a heat blanket; it's covered with a towel. She doesn't try to move around much anymore. I am trying to make her comfortable. I give her water by hand and also small portions of food. I don't believe Gweenie will be with me much longer and that is really sad.
I guess also I was wondering if anyone else has had an Ig live this long?
Steven

What a good long life you've given her! My friend Linda lost her Valencio this year and she'd had him over 20 years as well. I've heard of a few others as well... It will be so hard to let go, but you've done an amazing job!
