I recently bought out a collection. The deal was I had to take everything. So I ended up with a few species Im not very familiar with. One being this beauty rat snake. Can anyone tell me what it is (blue beauty, taiwan beauty, etc.)? Thanks a lot.

If I had to guess I would probably go with a dark t. mocquardi but I would not be shocked if there was some t. taeniura in the wood work somewhere.

LOL. I was going to say Orthriophis taeniurus, but on second thought it looks like something from high in the mountains of China. Not much color to look at.

I just saw this snake in your ad on Fauna. This looks to most likely be a Yunnan, O. t. yunnanensis. But I don't believe it to be pure. I see influence of O. t. taeniurus as well. At best, I believe the snake to be a mix of at least two different subspecies.
