"Waterland Tubs" are great if large enough... and you can put a drain tube in to drop "overflow" water through a filter medium before pumping it back in to repeat the cycle. Absent that good old fashioned Rubbermaid stock tanks are beyond tough, have drains, and come in sizes from 50 gallons to 300.
