Just curious I read through and searched but only found info regarding the dangers of spiral compacts. My question about lighting is mainly for display. I was curious if actinic blue lighting and 10000k daylight bulbs would do harm to beardies? I actually in the near future intend to replace each one with 4 R-zilla t-5 desert series bulbs or atleast the just replace the 2 10000k daylights with these. Before you ask yes this fixture was intended for a reef tank I just hate the idea of this rather expensive piece of equipment collecting dust and felt if it wasn't harmful and would show off my beardies colors more why not.

10000k lights are quite bright, but being regular lights (as in not uvb producing, or at least you didn't mention they were uvb) I don't think they will be harmful. I would just watch the heat to make sure they don't over heat your tank. That and if you do notice your dragons keep closing their eyes while basking consistently, then switch.

I would also make sure they are not mounted too close to the basking spot, so may not be useful if your cage is less than 20" high.

Yeah well the good thing is I can run 2 lights or all 4 making so I can run 1 blue and 1 10000k I noticed with all 4 running the cool end of Syd's home hits the 90's so been running 2 just the 10000k's haven't noticed repeatedly closing of the eyes only when under the Zoo Med PowerSun UV 100W Bulb (anyone heard anything negative about these mercury vapor bulbs?) will Syd close up the eyes and just hang out. Thanks for the info!
