I've had my male gtp for almost three years now and for the first time hes gone off feed and has become unusually active at night. Is this any indication that he wants to breed? I've recently acquired a female who is housed right next to him. Does he know there's a female nearby? My intent was for the two to breed so should I put them together and see if this is the case?

Depends on the age and or weight of your female.Most say 3-4 yrs of age and 1000 grams.I however have waited until my fem was over 1300,but then Im paranoid.
